As has been the case for most of my life I have never been content as one of the herd. Nothing has inspired me more than being told it cannot or should not be done. Perhaps the influence of my Scorpio birth sign resulting in the realisation of my attraction to eccentricities and whymsical farm creatures rather than to the accepted norm..
I have packed a lot into my life so far.. travelled many paths and intersected with many personalities.. good, bad and everything in between! As a result, I have come to realise what is important to me: Seeing in somebody's face the true gratitude or sincere emotion evoked by a photograph is where its at. Having cheffed at some point as well, the only thing I can liken it to is when someone is truellly blown away by a meal. The words don't matter - my work is done!
I wouldn't be where I am today if it weren't for certain people who have supported and encouraged me in my endeavours! Whilst I can't mention everyone, just a very special thank you must go to my good friend David Randel of The College of Digital Photography. His never ending support and help and tireless answering of questions has been a true asset to honing my skills and refining my understanding!
